New Challenge over at Lacy Sunshine!! Anything Goes

Hi Everyone. Some lovely news to share with you - I have been invited to join the Design Team over at Lacy Sunshine!! I feel very honored and now will be able to share some wonderful images and fun with you.

So over at Lacy Sunshine there is a new Challenge up - and the theme is "Anything Goes".

We all used the super cute Bubble's Ornament for our inspiration card. I coloured her in copics, and the background is watercolour. There is a little more sparkle on the image that can be shown with the photo, especially on the ornament.

Glitter 'n' Sparkle Challenge#194

For my tag I used the lovely image Pretty Mermaid with Fisf from SLS lines. The fish did not end up in the tag :( but it is definitely an image I will be colouring up again. She is coloured in copics and I have used stickles in her hair for a bit of sparkle. The tag die is from Mama Elephant.

Spotlight post over at Scrap N' Dipity

Hi Everyone! Today it is my turn over at Scrap N' Dipity to share one of my projects I have been working on with a super cute new image. This gorgeous new digital image is called - Astrology Doll - Gemini. I am not a Gemini but could not go past this cute image and I will be saving this card for one of my Gemini friends, but she will have to wait until next year :(

I have use copic markers to colour the image, and I used gold liquid pearls on the starts. I looked up the colour of Gemini and in one of the places I looked it said Yellow - hence the yellow everywhere. Yellow is not a colour that I use very often but I really liked how the card turned out and the lovely brightness of the Yellow. The paper that I used was from Stampin' Up.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenges#310 - Boys/Men

Hi Everyone. Sorry I am a bit behind in posting my Fab 'n' Funky this week. Had a bad week with illness in the household. But now everyone is feeling better and I have been glued (literally - haha) to my craft desk trying to catch up a bit.

Anyway - this week over at the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Blog we are up to Challenge#310! And this week the theme is Boys/Men. So time to make that father's day card or that birthday card for your dad or son and just have fun.

Our fantastic sponsor this week is Dr. Digi. Dr. Digi really is the ideal place to start for a great variety of images suitable for the men in our lives.

For my card I have made my Dad's Father's Day card for later in the year (September). My Dad cooks a mean BBQ so I really loved this image - BBQ Dragon from the Dr. Digi store. I coloured him up with Copics and really enjoyed working with the orange.

Scrap N' Challenge June Challenge

Glitter 'n' Sparkle Challenge#191 - Recycle!

Our Challenge Theme this week is:

Recycle

So we need to see :

Anything you have recycled, change your Junk into Gems.
So long as its anything BUT a Card ....

For my project I did actually struggle to find something to recycle - I think we recycle too well in terms of getting rid of things that can be put in the recycle trash! I did hunt through some drawers and found the perfect empty smallish cardboard box to recycle. I then pulled out an old book that I use in my projects and covered the box with strips of text. I then splattered some watercolour paints and used a stencil with some embossing paste.

I then coloured my image with Copics - I love this image from A Random Fan - Summer Escape. I did use a bit of pencil as well to try to darken some areas. 

Here is a close up of the coloured image. It is a bit hard to see the detail in the photo above.
