FFF - Wings!

Monday, September 29, 2014
Welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday on The Greeting Farm. This week the challenge is WINGS! There are so many lovely images to choose from and I picked Anya Angel

I have started to get addicted to the whole paper piecing or paper tole method of putting the image together - especially inspired by this blog that I found - sendingyoualittlesmile.blogspot.com.au. Mariska's work is amazing - well worth the time to browse and get inspired.

I think I stamped her about 5 times, the first one on Kraft card, and the rest on white, then coloured the various elements and pieced it together using Scrap Dots glue. Then lots of sparkle and it turned into a beautiful tag or possible Christmas decoration.

Here is a close up view of the image.

And here is a side view of the image as it is really hard to see the depth created by the paper tole technique.

Hope you get a chance to play along with us for FFF.

Have a great weekend!

FFF - Autumn colours

Saturday, September 20, 2014
Welcome to another FFF for The Greeting Farm. This week Lysa is hosting and has challenged us to use an Autumn Colour palette. What a gorgeous mix of colours.

For my card I have used Logan, and paper from Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck - Nutmeg. Hope you get a chance to play along this week.

FFF - Anything Goes

Saturday, September 13, 2014
Hi everyone - another Farm Fresh Friday over at the Greeting Farm blog and this week the challenge is "ANYTHING GOES!"

For my project I used one of the images from Xmas Sweeties. Although it is hard to see the dimension on the photo, the image is paper pieced together. The slider box is so much fun to make, and pretty easy. I followed the instructions here on Splitcoast Stampers.

And when you open the box, this is what it looks like.

Hope you have a great weekend and get a chance to join us on FFF.

FFF - Watercolour

Saturday, September 6, 2014
I am hosting FFF this week over at The Greeting Farm Blog.

This week the theme you need to play along with is WATERCOLOUR. Use paints, distress inks, any medium that you can apply with water. It is quite a popular technique at the moment and is really great for doing backgrounds!

For my card I used Holiday Anya 4 from the new release.

Hope you get a chance to get inky this weekend.

TGF - September Release Day

Monday, September 1, 2014
Hi Everyone - welcome back to the big release day! So excited that it's finally September - and the first day of Spring here in Australia! AND because it's the 1st- it means RELEASE DAY @The Greeting Farm!!!

Today, you can find ALL FOUR new sets in the shop! (Holiday Anya 4, Dollie w/Gifts, Winter Greetings & Winter Kindness!) And we're celebrating with a blog hop!!

If you didn't arrive from Marcy's blog- I  encourage you to start with The Greeting Farm blog and make your way to check out everyone's fabulous creations!

BUT before we begin today's hop, we have a few special announcements.  We are welcoming Rosemary Bridges as our DT Coordinator and Joni Wilson as our Guest DT Coordinator/Special Project leader and we thrilled!  Jessica will still remain on the farm in some other capacities, but in her own words, she couldn't be more excited about these special ladies.  They have wonderful energy and will do an amazing job in their duties and are also two of the most talented crafters as well!   There's more on the blog from Jess about these new changes, but for now... let's get hoppin'!

For my last card of the release I decided to use another of the sweet figures from the Winter Greetings. I paper pieced her outfit and coloured in with Copic markers.

One lucky winner who visits all of the DT's blogs, comments, and comes back here letting us know they did will take home the ENTIRE JANUARY RELEASE!
Let's kick things off right!  Here we go…
KRISTINA DISHON (you are here!)
You have until 11:30pm CST to complete the hop and enter to WIN!  Winner will be announced tomorrow on the blog and on our FACEBOOK page, so stay tuned!
Hope you have a great week!
