My last FFF with The Greeting Farm...

Saturday, December 27, 2014
Hello fellow Farmers. Today is my last post as a member of the Design Team at The Greeting Farm. I have so enjoyed my year creating projects to inspire you all to get inky with their fabulous images. I have had a blast working with the rest of the DT Girls, and also loved seeing all the creations that you have all come up with as well as you have participated in our FFF Challenges.

So without further adieu, the theme for the last FFF for 2014, hosted by the lovely Lysa, is...
"TAGS"

For my project I created my Christmas gift tags using the tree image and sentiment from the Dollie with Gifts set. I used Lil' Inker Design stitched rectangle dies to cut the tags out. Then used Dew Drop Brillance Pearlescent Thyme ink. It has a shimmer which is hard to see in the photo. I inked the tree once for each tag and triple stamped which gives the different gradients of colour for the trees.

Hope everyone has had a fantastic 2014 and wishing you an even better 2015!!

FFF - Winter Theme Challenge

Saturday, December 20, 2014
Hi Everyone - Another Farm Fresh Friday to inspire you to get Inky - and this week it doesn't have to be a Christmas Card! However a great theme for all those in the Northern Hemisphere (It's starting to heat up here in Australia as we head into summer) The theme is Winter this week.

For my card I pulled out the Winter Greetings set - and I discovered I had not even inked up this cute little guy. I coloured him with Copic Markers and added a few dots for embellishment. Keeping my cards clean and simple at the moment - that way I can churn out more Christmas cards - ha ha.

Please join us over at The Greeting Farm blog for the challenge.
Have a great weekend.

FFF - Non-traditional holiday colours

Monday, December 15, 2014
Welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge on The Greeting Farm Blog.

This week's challenge is to use "Non-traditional holiday colours" on your card.

I have used the lovely aqua and silver for my card. My image is from Xmas Sweeties (Retired), stamped on Kraft card and coloured with Prismacolour pencils. I love how the Kraft card makes the colours really pop. The greeting is a die from Simon Says Stamp, and the snowflake die is from My Favorite Things.

Hope you get a chance to play along.

I always like to show my class something a little bit different and I am always on the hunt for different shaped cards or something with a twist - this card has the cute pull out section.

I have use the MFT stamp set - Sweet Birthday Wishes, and the accompanying dies. The patterned paper is from Fancy Pants Be.loved. 6x6 paper pad, and the greeting is a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I have used Petal Pink Liquid Pearls for the icing on the cupcake.

We are welcoming another Anya into the fold - and she is so versatile - I can think of lots of different occasions she can be used for .... so welcoming....

"Cheers Anya"

And here is my card - picked the the Christmas them - she looks like she is having a little Christmas celebration. I wanted lots of sparkle so her dress is red glitter and there is a little sparkle on the holly in her hair as well, added to a very sparkly background circle!! I am a true believer that Christmas must be accompanied by sparkles. The Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Prima Doll Card

Saturday, October 25, 2014
I have been a fan for the Prima doll for awhile now however the original ones they came out with I always felt they were a little too big for cards. So I was so happy when they decided to bring out their range of smaller stamps which are perfect for cardies like me!!

I have used Julie Nutting's "Merry Nice" stamp for this clean and simple card. Coloured with Copics and thought the image was too nice to be cluttered with anything other than just a touch of patterned paper from Fancy Pants - Merry Little Christmas - 6x6 paper pad.

Thanks for looking!

Tri Shutter Card

Just wanted to share a card I created for my card class at Create on Ormond. I thought the girls would love to try this fun card, and can be used for so many occasions. It does not show up very well but there are lots of sparkly stickles on this one.

The paper is from Fabscraps Christmas range. The die cut greeting is from Simon Says Stamp.

Below is the card opened out so you can see all the detail.

FFF - Clean & Simple

Hi Everyone - another Friday flying by and time for a new challenge at The Greeting Farm Blog for Farm Fresh Friday.

This week I used a stamp that I had recently purchased by not used - it is an old TGF stamp and is retired I think but you can sometimes hunt them down. My image is ES Elena and I decided to do a Polaroid type image. The sentiment is die cut from glitter cardstock with an MFT die.
Hope you get a chance to play along this week.

FFF - Purple

Monday, October 20, 2014
Hiya - another FFF post for you - this week I am hosting and for the challenge I have chose my favourite colour - PURPLE.

For my card I kept it clean and simple to let the image be the star! I used Ebony (retired) which I thought was perfect for the colour purple. It really suits her!!

Hope you get a chance to play along this week on The Greeting Farm Blog.

FFF - Anything Goes!

Friday, October 10, 2014
Hi Everyone - another Friday rolls around - Christmas is just around the corner - eek!! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping? Has anyone finished?

Well let's not think about Christmas right now - let's think about a fun new Farm Fresh Friday Challege over at The Greeting Farm Blog - and this week Chitra has chosen ...

Anything Goes!

For my card this week I used the lovely Princess Anya. I paper-pieced her dress and used lots of star dust stickles on her crown and wand.

Hope you get a chance to play along this week.!

FFF - Halloween

Monday, October 6, 2014

Welcome to another FFF, and with Halloween coming up at the end of the month Jodi has chosen Halloween as the theme for this week's challenge. I really wish we were more into Halloween here in Australia purely for the cute Halloween images that you can get from various stamp companies, and The Greeting Farm selection to choose from for Halloween are super cute!! Check of the Spooky Kit!! And also the digi kit - Spooktacular - is great value for money with 5 gorgeous images - which is where I got mine from.

For my card I use Frankibride from the digi kit and coloured her up with Copics. Then I used her on a pull out card.

Here is an image of the card when you pull on the knotted ribbon. Cute huh!!

Hope you get a chance to play along this week.

Kristina.

FFF - Wings!

Monday, September 29, 2014
Welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday on The Greeting Farm. This week the challenge is WINGS! There are so many lovely images to choose from and I picked Anya Angel

I have started to get addicted to the whole paper piecing or paper tole method of putting the image together - especially inspired by this blog that I found - sendingyoualittlesmile.blogspot.com.au. Mariska's work is amazing - well worth the time to browse and get inspired.

I think I stamped her about 5 times, the first one on Kraft card, and the rest on white, then coloured the various elements and pieced it together using Scrap Dots glue. Then lots of sparkle and it turned into a beautiful tag or possible Christmas decoration.

Here is a close up view of the image.

And here is a side view of the image as it is really hard to see the depth created by the paper tole technique.

Hope you get a chance to play along with us for FFF.

Have a great weekend!
KRISTINA xx

FFF - Autumn colours

Saturday, September 20, 2014
Welcome to another FFF for The Greeting Farm. This week Lysa is hosting and has challenged us to use an Autumn Colour palette. What a gorgeous mix of colours.

For my card I have used Logan, and paper from Cosmo Cricket Mini Deck - Nutmeg. Hope you get a chance to play along this week.

FFF - Anything Goes

Saturday, September 13, 2014
Hi everyone - another Farm Fresh Friday over at the Greeting Farm blog and this week the challenge is "ANYTHING GOES!"

For my project I used one of the images from Xmas Sweeties. Although it is hard to see the dimension on the photo, the image is paper pieced together. The slider box is so much fun to make, and pretty easy. I followed the instructions here on Splitcoast Stampers.

And when you open the box, this is what it looks like.

Hope you have a great weekend and get a chance to join us on FFF.

Kristina

FFF - Watercolour

Saturday, September 6, 2014
I am hosting FFF this week over at The Greeting Farm Blog.

This week the theme you need to play along with is WATERCOLOUR. Use paints, distress inks, any medium that you can apply with water. It is quite a popular technique at the moment and is really great for doing backgrounds!

For my card I used Holiday Anya 4 from the new release.

Hope you get a chance to get inky this weekend.

Kristina

FFF - fave embellishment - Day 3 Preview

Friday, August 29, 2014
Welcome to not only to another Farm Fresh Friday but also to Day 3 Previews for the September Greeting Farm release!

There are two stamp sets for this preview - Winter Kindness and Winter Wishes.

I used the boy image from Winter Kindness and my favorite embellishment is Buttons! The paper is again from Stampin' Up - I love it when you find a paper stash you forgot you had. I'm on a mission to use up a stack of patterned paper before buying anymore - I have way too much! I coloured this little guy in with Copics and used Spellbinder dies to cut the circle and scalloped circle.

Make sure you stop by all the DTs blogs and leave a comment to be in for a chance to win. Then hop back to The Greeting Farm Blog and leave a comment and you might be they lucky person to win these stamps!

And I hope you have a chance to also play along with our challenge. We love seeing all your creations!

Saturday, August 23, 2014
Hi Everyone - Welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm. Hope you get a chance to play along as this week the theme is "ANYTHING GOES" so basically just pull out your stamps, get inky and show us your creations!

For this week I decided to practice colouring in a monochromatic theme - I use the W Copics (Warm Grey) and I used one of the images from Miss Anya - Summer.

FFF - Back to School

Saturday, August 2, 2014

Welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday at The Greeting Farm - the weeks are flying  by aren't they. Still can't believe it is less than six months until Christmas!

The theme Jodi has set for us all this week is...
"BACK TO SCHOOL"

My son has been back at school for a month now, but our terms are a bit different to in the US. For my card I was wondering what I should use as I didn't have any of the school looking stamps. So I thought ... hhmmmmnn ....  apple for the teacher ....   apple ...... I know ..... Fairest - from the Super Secret Stamp Club. PERFECT.

Hope you have time to join us this week.

Kristina.
