These are some christmas cards I created for a class at Create on Ormond. The focus was on using all your lovely Christmas papers in cards that were quick and easy to reproduce. All the papers are from Echo Park.

Father's Day Card

Wednesday, August 24, 2011
Here is an origami shirt card that I made for a Father's Day Card class at Create on Ormond. SO many great UTube videos on origami these days! The tie was trickey as I tied a proper full windsor knot - it is the only way I know how to tie a tie, after 6 years of wearing one at school. Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Explosion Purse and Card

I found a template for this cure Explosion Purse - but now I can't find the link!!  The little card can fit inside the purse.

Using Vellum

Tuesday, July 26, 2011
I am doing a card class at Create On Garden this week, and I decided to use Vellum as my inspiration.

The first card I used Hero Arts stamp, stamped with versamark ink and used white embossing powder and heat set.

The second card I ran the vellum through the Cuttlebug embossing folder, then used Tim Holtz distress inks to paint the embossed image.

Centre Step Card

Wednesday, July 13, 2011
I saw this great tutorial over on Splicoast Stampers and had a go. Easy to make but really effective and striking. I love how it is really solid in the way it stands up.

I used the "Friends" background stamp from Hero Arts, and the flower stamp is from Penny Black - 3818J - Wind Caressed. I coloured with pencils then used glossy accents on the petals of the flowers. Paper is from Kaisercraft.

Baby Boy Card

I am still making lots of baby cards - I sell them at the hospital I work at in the little coffee shop, where people buy their teddies and balloons for new additions to the family. I am constantly restocking which is really nice. It is always nice to think people appreciate a hand made card.

This card is 4 x 4 inches. I used the Papertrey Ink set "Bitty Baby Blessings" for the boat image. I paper pieced the sail and hull. The greeting is from another Papertrey Ink set "Inside & Out: Baby". The check blue paper was from October Afternoon "Ducks in a Row" collection.

Birthday Girl

Made this card awhile ago but I have been having so much trouble with my internet connection I haven't uploaded anything for ages. We live out on a farm and have no home phone, so using a plug in internet connection and don't really get the best signal at the best of times.

For this card I used a fantastic A La Mode stamp "Birthday Girl" from My Favourite Things Stamps. I used paper from the Bo Bunny "Peacock Lane" Collection. I paper pieced her dress and the paper cupcake patty and used glossy accents and glitter on the cake's icing.
Here is a close up of the image. I coloured her in with Copics.

Spring Wreath

Tuesday, May 17, 2011
This is a card I have made for my next card class at Create on Garden. I love this Hero Arts stamp - so versatile. The flower is from Kaisercraft, Ribbon from Martha Stewart. I stamped the wreath with versamark then embossed with white embossing powder. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks over the image.

Easter Card

Thursday, April 21, 2011
It's been so long since I posted anything - my computer has been having issues of uploading so haven't been able to post any cards recently. This is a card I have designed for my card class at "Create on Garden". I had fun making it, especially weaving the basket. I used the patterned egg stamp from Hero Arts, the Martha Stewart grass punch and the bunny I pieced together from punched pieces.

Make today a play day!

I am really pleased to say I have finally found my crafting mojo! It went on an extended vacation about 12 months ago and has finally made it's way back home. I am once again inspired to sit down at my craft table and create, where I had just been sitting down and getting up again, sitting down and getting up with nothing to show.

I waded through my pile of stamps and found some really cute monster stamps from Daisy Bucket Designs that I picked up about 12 months ago at Paperific in Melbourne. And teaming it up with some fab My Mind's Eye paper - Stella @ Rose - Mabel Papers 6x6 pad. I am really impressed by their new releases.

A la Mode - Oh Baby!

I have really fallen in love with the stamps from mftstamps.com. They are great images to stamp and colour in and really fun to combine with patterned paper.

The stamp I used was one of the a la mode range "Oh Baby!" I used patterend paper from My Miond's Eye Tickled pink 6x6 paper pad. I paper peiced the bear's bow and coloured with Copic markers.
Here is a close up of the stamped image.
