Depth Perception Challenge

Here is my contribution to the Caardvarks - Depth Perception Challenge - click here.

I have wanted to do one of these accordion cards for a long time, and thought this was the perfect opportunity. I had such fun colouring in the jungle animals!

I used Tim Holtz distress inks for the grass and sky - broken china and shabby Shutters. The animals I coloured in with watercolour pencils, and the stamps are from Autumn Leaves.

Here is a side on view to see the folds.

  1. Thanks for the comment on my blog.

I love your card. My cousin has a birthday comming up and its a "wild animal" theme. And you just gave me some inspiriation!

  2. Very cute card. This is also a card I've wanted to try but finding the right stamps to make it work can be a challenge. The animals are so sweet.

  3. Cute cute cute ... what a fun little jungle e-D theme ... love how your monkey is hanging from the vine.

  4. Aww, how cute! I love the soft colors!

  5. Everybody commenting here says cute... so I will choose another word (although cute definitely IS the right one): GREAT!

  6. You have created an adorable 3D scene! This is really precious!!
