Crafty Creations Challenges #357

Hi Everyone. So close to Christmas!! Hope you have all your shopping done and presents wrapped! I haven't even started, haven't put up a tree and am in denial that Christmas is on Monday! Oh well, I have the weekend to power shop.

Crafty Creations Challenge

Hi Everyone. I have had a bit of a posting lapse with so many things going on in my personal life, that although I have been making cards, I have not been prioritising sharing them on my blog. I get as far as putting them on Instagram and that is about all. Sometimes you fall into a bit of a slump in motivation I suppose :(

Anyhoooooo - I did want to share with you  the card I made for the last Crafty Creations Challenge and to make sure I gave a shout out to our great sponsor - Cute as a Button Stamps!

As usual I am trying to build up my Christmas card stash (not long to go now!!) so I chose the lovely image - Reindeer Bells to play with. The image is coloured with copic markers, and the sentiment I used was from Hero Arts.

CUTE AS A BUTTON

For my card I am adding to my Christmas Card stash! So I chose this gorgeous image "Candy Canes". I have a thing for candy canes and Christmas recently, I think this is the third card that I have recently created with candy canes in the image - the ironic thing is that I really dislike the taste of candy canes!!! I have coloured the image with Copic markers. I really liked how the hair turned out and what better colours than red and green for christmas.

Crafty Creations Challenge#345

Hi everyone. 

Welcome to another week and another new challenge over at the Crafty Creations Challenge Blog. Our theme as always is 

ANYTHING GOES..

And our fabulous sponsor this week is Beccy's Place. 

The winner of this week's challenge will receive one digital image of their choice. 

For my card this week I chose a Christmas image so I can work on my Christmas Card stash - it will be Christmas before you know it!! The Candy cane image that I have used comes from the set Sweet Christmas. I have coloured the image with Copic markers, and the ribbon is coloured with a silver gel pen - a bit hard to see the sparkle in the photo. I have then teamed the image up with some patterned paper from Stampin' Up, and the sentiment I used is from Hero Arts.

For my card I chose the image - Sassy and Me. The image itself is larger than the portion I used and actually shows the girl walking a dog. However I just cropped the image so I could focus on the girl's upper half. She is coloured with Copic markers.

For my card I chose the image - Birthday Ewe Trio. I needed to make a birthday card for a colleague and this image seemed perfect to come from the team to him. I coloured the image with copics and then matted with cardstock. I have used some Bo Bunny spotted paper and added twine and a button.

Crafty Creations Challenge #335

Hi everyone. Today I am sharing with you my card for the latest challenge over at the Crafty Creations Challenge Blog - we are up to challenge #335 and it is Anything Goes so a great opportunity to share any of your amazing craft work!

This week our sponsor is Fred She Said who are offering at $10 gift card to their store for the winner. Fred She Said Designs offers a wide variety of digital products with a floral flair and cute characters too - Digi's, Pre-coloured images, Papers, Sets, Fred's Flower Kits, and even digital cutting files. Have some fun with Fred!

For my card this week I chose an image called Simple Rose Spray from Fred She Said. I kept the card pretty simple and I hadn't coloured a rose in before but I sought guidance and inspiration from Kit and Clowder - Alyce had a fantastic video showing how to colour roses for her wedding. Even though I was using a different rose image, the techniques from the video were really useful! The free class is called Wedding Surprise - you will need to join the Kit and Clowder community to access it. The sentiment I used was from Hampton Art Layering Clear Stamp Set - Words.
