Birthday Balloons

Tuesday, February 5, 2019
Hi Everyone!
Another card to share with you today. I just bought some Distress Oxide inks and just had to use them and I needed to make a card for my partner's dad.. So after sifting through my stamp stash I pulled out this set from Close to my Heart - Birthday. The distress oxide ink colours that I used were - picked raspberry, salty ocean, shaded lilac, peacock feathers and twisted citron. I then added some confetti in the background in silver ink using a stamp from the Stampin' Up set - Party Pandas.
Thanks for looking.

The Daily Marker - 30 day coloring challenge - Day 2

Hi everyone!
Hope you are having an amazing day. I have been making heaps of cards lately and mainly because I am on 2 weeks of annual leave from work (YAY!!) I am a real home body so just pottering around the house makes me happy on my holidays - with lots of time for coloring!
So here is my Day 2 of the 30 day coloring challenge.
My card today uses the super cute pirate image from the MFT set - BB Party Like a Pirate.  I have used prismacolor pencils to color this one. I don't use pencils much and again something I need to use more. When I do use pencils, I love to colour on kraft card as it really makes the colours pop.

The photo below shows the inside of the card, and I have coloured this image with copics.

The Daily Marker - 30 day coloring challenge - Day 1

Sunday, February 3, 2019
Hi everyone. As I am really challenging myself to be more crafty in 2019 I have decided to go for the 30 day coloring challenge with Kathy over at The Daily Marker.
For my first day I coloured up this cute image from Art Impressions - Doggy Kisses Set. Coloring animals is a real challenge for me and something I want to do more of. I have coloured with copic markers.
Thanks for looking.

Hi. I am back with another card to share using another gorgeous image from Tiddly Inks - You and Me. I had actually coloured this in about a year ago and it has only now found it's way onto a card!

Hi Everyone!
I can't believe that it is nearly February already. My son starts Year 8 tomorrow and he is just growing up too fast!

Today I am sharing a Triple Fold Card that I am teaching at Create on Ormond tomorrow night. The first photo shows the card shut. The photos do not show you the gold mirror card that mats the patterned paper n the card.
The next photo shows the card open. I love that this card will stand up really solidly.
The final photo shows a close up of the centre panel. The Birthday die is from Uniquely Creative - Sweet Sentiments Die
Thanks for looking - have a great day!
